Exceptional Pinot Meunier Limited Edition; this wine is an elegant Blanc de Noirs with lime-citrus top notes flying over subtle orchard fruit flavours, underpinned by a purity and minerality that is both refreshing and deliciously easy to enjoy.
Meunier 2014 was awarded Gold by Sommelier Wine Awards 2020, by The IEWA in 2019 and IWSC in 2018. It was also awarded Silver & 94 points by Decanter World Wine Awards in 2021.
Judges’ Comments from IEWA 2019: “Almond stone with splendid acidity”; “Lovely developed nose of brioche. Good mouth texture, vibrant acidity.”; “Nose is distinctly champagne-like with biscuit/nutty undertones. Pleasing bitterness on the lengthy finish”; “Long finish, well rounded”; “Very pleasant, balanced and English. Distinct. Almonds and soft stone fruit. Definitive length which would pair well with food. Still tasting it and enjoying the mouth feel”
The wine is made from a selection from two separate Pinot Meunier parcels at Lakestreet Vineyard.
The Pinot Meunier grapes are normally a part of our Tradition Brut Blanc de Noirs blend, but when they show exceptional quality we make them into a single varietal cuvée.
Meunier is a limited edition release. It is an elegant Blanc de Noirs with lime-citrus top notes flying over

The wine is made from a selection from two separate Pinot Meunier parcels at our Lakestreet vineyard. Normally a part of our Tradition Brut Blanc de Noirs blend, the exceptional quality of the Meunier fruit in 2014 persuaded us to make it into a single varietal cuvée.
It is another good example of the top quality innovative wines that are being made by the creative team at Fox & Fox, at their two vineyards at Mayfield in East Sussex.
